Where leadership meets wellness, and renewal becomes the path to lasting impact.

Overview

In today’s dynamic professional world, women leaders are continually rising to the challenge, demonstrating resilience, vision, and innovation—even in the face of relentless demands that call for renewed focus on wellbeing and creativity.

This Executive GlobeTREK Leadership Sabbatical provides the rare gift of structured and self-guided time to renew, restore, and redefine leadership from the inside out, specifically aimed at preventing burnout, disconnection, and diminished creativity.

Set in the vibrant and restorative landscape of Costa Rica, this week-long program integrates embodied wellness practices, cultural immersion, and executive coaching within the country’s natural healing environment. Through reflective practice, experiential learning, and reconnection with the Pura Vida lifestyle, participants will rediscover balance and cultivate resilience.

This is not simply a retreat—it is a transformative journey where executive women reclaim their presence, ignite creativity, and design leadership legacies rooted in sustainability, purpose, and authenticity.

Why Costa Rica?

Costa Rica’s lush rainforests, natural hot springs, and tranquil coastlines provide an unparalleled setting for restoration. Known for its Pura Vida philosophy, the country embodies balance, vitality, and joy—principles essential for sustainable leadership.

Pura Vida is a popular phrase from Costa Rica that literally translates to “pure life” in Spanish. It carries much deeper meaning than just the words: it reflects a mindset of simplicity, gratitude, and joy. Costa Ricans use it to express living fully, appreciating life’s blessings, and focusing on wellbeing over stress.

Participants will experience a seamless integration of cultural rituals, spa-based healing, gourmet nourishment from local chefs, and luxury accommodations designed to soothe the body and mind. Costa Rica offers not only natural beauty, but a living reminder of how wellness and leadership can coexist in harmony.

Where You’ll Stay

Your experience is set at The Golden Pineapple Villas, an exclusive luxury boutique retreat nestled within a private 14-acre jungle oasis in Uvita, Costa Rica. Perched on a mountainside, the property offers sweeping ocean vistas alongside the immersive richness of the surrounding rainforest.

Each participant will stay in their own private luxury villa featuring its own infinity pool, outdoor soaking tub, kitchen, and thoughtfully designed modern interiors. Mornings begin with panoramic views and the distant call of howler monkeys—an unforgettable reminder that this is a place designed for both renewal and reflection.
