Ian Moschenross
Program Leader
A versatile performer and educator, Ian Moschenross is an active piano soloist, chamber musician, and educator with over 25 years of experience in higher education. In the studio and classroom, Dr. Moschenross teaches piano, as well as music theory and history courses. He has held teaching positions at Monmouth College (IL), Grinnell College, (IA), and Central College (IA). Moschenross currently teaches music theory, music history, and piano courses at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. Apart from performing and teaching, his scholarly interests include the life and works of Robert Schumann, non-equal temperament tuning systems, and the literary intertextuality of Bob Dylan lyrics.
Ian Moschenross earned a B.A. in Music from Hanover College (IN) and the M.M. and D.M.A. in piano performance from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
